All volunteers attending events hereby agree to abide by the following bylaws of Ghostbusters Cloverdale when representing the team.
Basic Competency Preferences/Requirements
Communication
A critical competency for teamwork, communication involves listening, speaking, writing, and presenting in a clear and concise way.
Problem solving
A key competency for any team role, problem solving involves gathering and analyzing information, identifying the problem, and generating and evaluating solutions.
Adaptability
The ability to adjust to changing conditions, circumstances, and tasks.
Location
While we're open to about anyone attending events with us, we unfortunately can not trust everyone to represent us and our work so it is strongly preferred that anyone interested in working with our group be located in or near our Putnam County base.

All potential members must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Any minors are welcome to help a parent on a case by case basis as assessed by a founding member. And will therefore be referred to as a "Junior Ghostbuster" until 18 years of age.
All potential members must attend three (3) Ghostbusters Cloverdale events public events during the span of one calendar year and make themselves and their intention to join known to members of the group before joining.
There are many options for appropriate attire and we want our team to be comfortable however. All attire worn at events will be subject to approval by a board member before to determine if is appropriate for the event. All potential members attending fundraisers or charity events where the team is expected to be in uniform must have a Ghostbusters uniform with minimum requirements any article of clothing baring the Ghostbusters Cloverdale logo or consisting of the following: A Ghostbusters-style flight suit or any appropriate attire with custom name patch on the left chest and Ghostbusters logo patch sewn on the right sleeve. A Ghostbusters Cloverdale patch will be presented to you at your third event and must be swn onto your left sleeve. All costs for uniforms/personal equipment is solely the financial responsibility of each individual member and we are not responsible for damages/theft of personal property at our functions.
All potential members must live in the state of Indiana and preferably in Putnam or surrounding county.
All potential members must submit to a background check unless made otherwise apparent of a clean background. They are usually free at your local police station and we need to know we have good people on our clients properties.
Full membership will be confirmed by a founding member either in person or by email within 30 days once all requirements have been met. Rejection of membership and reason therein will not be confirmed at all. If you don't hear from us unfortunately, there is a very good reason.
Every member must conduct themselves in a professional manner while in uniform or attire baring a ghostbusters or ghostbuster cloverdale and representing the team. Members are herein identified as any volunteer working on our team on a regular basis whether as a volunteer as an investigator, uniformed Ghostbuster for events including but not limited to fundraisers and charity work.
Any concerns of attendance of events must be clearly communicated to a board member within 24 hours of the event. Each member is solely responsible for securing their own transportation to and from events and being where they're directed to when they're directed to by a board member.
Any member Missing 3 or more events in which they have agreed to attend will result in re-evaluation and possible revocation of membership by the board of directors. Results and a final decision on the outcome of the re-evaluation will be communicated to the member in question by a board member either by electronic message or in person within 24 hours of the beginning of the 3rd missed event.
Team Roles And they're Descriptions
Case Manager:
Investigates and manages cases involving reported paranormal activity, often working with individuals who believe they are experiencing a haunting or other unexplained phenomena. This role involves conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and coordinating with various professionals or resources to address the situation, sometimes including spiritual or medical referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Intake and Assessment:
Receive reports of paranormal activity, conduct initial interviews to understand the situation, and assess the reported experiences.
Evidence Gathering and Analysis:
Utilize investigative techniques and specialized equipment to gather data related to the reported phenomena.
Case Management:
Develop and implement strategies to address the reported issues, which may involve coordinating with other professionals like spiritual advisors, therapists, or medical personnel.
Client Support:
Provide support and guidance to individuals experiencing paranormal activity, addressing their concerns and helping them cope with the situation.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all case-related information, including interviews, evidence, and interventions.
Referral and Coordination:
Refer individuals to appropriate resources, such as mental health professionals, spiritual healers, or other relevant services, and coordinate care among different providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong Communication Skills:
Effectively communicate with individuals experiencing paranormal activity, gather information, and explain investigative findings.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and develop logical explanations for observed phenomena.
Empathy and Compassion:
Ability to understand and address the emotional distress experienced by individuals reporting paranormal activity.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and address challenges related to paranormal investigations and client needs.
Knowledge of Investigative Techniques:
Familiarity with investigative techniques, equipment, and methodologies used in paranormal research.
Knowledge of Paranormal Phenomena:
Understanding of various types of paranormal experiences and their potential causes.
Field Investigators (all roles included)
They research the history of the location, looking for past events, deaths, or any other incidents that might be relevant to the claims.
Evidence Collection:
Investigators use a variety of tools to collect evidence. These can include:
EMF meters: Detect electromagnetic fields, which are sometimes associated with paranormal activity.
Digital cameras: To capture visual anomalies, like orbs or apparitions.
Audio recorders: To record unexplained sounds or voices.
Infrared or thermal cameras: To detect changes in temperature or movement.
